Computing for Beginners

In 8 sessions, we aim to teach you the very basics of how to use a computer; it's as simple as that! You need NO COMPUTER EXPERIENCE – the course is designed for absolute beginners with no prior qualifications or knowledge. You do not even need to have your own computer at home. The course is supported by a friendly and patient tutor. Starting with the absolute basics of what your computer is and does the main package used will be Microsoft Word. You will learn: - Starting up your computer - Understanding it's hardware and software - Opening and using applications - Creating, editing and saving documents - Finding your way around the desktop - Logging off and shutting down .
