Learn how to turn on the tablet, connect to a wireless signal, go on-line using the browser, use the on-screen keyboard to enter text and characters, manage files, take pictures using the camera(s), view pictures in the gallery, view maps and get directions, power off the tablet. By the end of the course you will be able to: Turn on the tablet.Connect to a wireless signal.Go on-line using the browser.Use the on-screen keyboard to enter text and characters.Manage files.Take pictures using the tablet's camera(s).Delete pictures from the gallery.View pictures in the gallery.View maps and get directions.Power off the tablet. This course is suitable for beginners with no experience of using an Android tablet. You need to bring your Android tablet, fully charged. There is no formal qualification for this Community Learning course. You might like to take the Android tablet: Next step course or attend the IT Open session (every Friday 10-2) to practise your skills. Further IT courses are also available.
