This important workshop is aimed at all those in the administration management or direction of charitable organisations including trustees/directors. The session will brief you on charitable status charity registration forms of governance and incorporation trustee liability charitable purpose and effect on activities trading companies trust deeds memorandum and articles trustees' duties and responsibilities the role of the secretary of the board meeting requirements and minutes reporting property law and leases including relevant aspects of the Charities Act. The facilitator Helen Harvie is a Chambers-listed solicitor and charity law specialist and is approved by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Helen acts as advisor to a wide range of charitable trusts associations and companies on a national and international basis.
