The ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) is a qualification run by the British Computer Society (BCS) that is universally recognised throughout Europe as an all round computer qualification. There are 3 levels of the ECDL; this is the 3rd and most advanced level. This is a classroom taught module of the ECDL Advanced (level 3) training course which culminates in the taking of the ECDL test. This enables learners to develop specialist skills in aspects of Microsoft office whilst moving towards the overall advanced ECDL qualification. The module goals for ECDL are set by BCS. The advanced Word Module has the following goals: Application of advanced text, paragraph, column and table formats (i.e. convert text to table and vice versa). Referencing features footnotes, endnotes, captions. Creating a table of contents, index and cross-referencing. Enhancing productivity using fields, forms and templates. Apply advanced mail merge techniques and work with automation features such as macros. Using linking and embedding to integrate data. Collaborative documents and review documents. Working with master and sub documents. Applying security settings to documents. As well as the following: watermarks, sections, headers and footers
