Media is the means of mass communication, which is today’s world includes newspapers, magazines, radio, television, video and film. The media industry can be a fast-paced and exciting industry to work in, with a wide range of career opportunities available. This programme is accredited by the University of the Arts, London (UAL), which has a world-class reputation within the creative industry This programme will introduce you to both the technical and creative aspects of the media industry, and will provide you with the opportunity to explore specialisms such as moving image, interactive and printed media. The lessons and workshops will give you the opportunity to explore and develop skills in: ◾Graphic design ◾Filmmaking and animation ◾Interactive design You will take part in live projects and competitions throughout the year which will enhance your learning experience and provide you with the skills and experience required for progression on to higher levels of study and future employment. As part of the programme you will have the opportunity to undertake work experience, which is great for your CV and gives you a real taste of the career options available.
