This programme is aimed at people who want to further their education in Information Technology. You must possess an understanding of the uses of IT and have some practical abilities within a range of software applications. You will complete a range of IT subject units that will cover software, hardware and creative areas in IT. On successful completion of this 1 year qualification, you can progress to a further L3 programme where you will have the choice of IT specialist pathways suited to your career plans, including Software, Hardware or Multimedia. You will also have many opportunities to listen to and question guest speakers from various creative and technical backgrounds. There will be trips and enrichment opportunities where you will be able to take part in community projects and gain work experience.
