The course will cover an introduction to the following topics Safe Working Practices Information Quantities and Communication with Others Building Methods and Construction Erect and Dismantle Working Platforms Prepare Timber. Working with hand and power tool and producing basic joinery items. The course develops the learners practical ability and construction knowledge with a mixture of theory and practical sessions which develops the learner at their own pace. As part of the course you will produce several pieces of practical work to industrial standards that will demonstrate your ability and allow you to progress.
