Emergency First Aid at Work

UPDATED 20160205 15:06:41

Is this the right course for me? This course is ideal for smaller workplaces that present few Health & Safety risks, where a 'nominated' or 'appointed' person is required to take charge in the event of an illness or accident. Fully qualified First Aiders in larger organisations can also benefit from additional support from Appointed persons. What will I learn? Basic lifesaving First Aid and workplace Health & Safety regulations, including; health & safety (first aid), managing an incident, treatment of bleeding and unconscious casualty, burns and scalds. How will I learn? Practical demonstrations and practice sessions. Will I gain a qualification? Upon successful completion of this course you will be issued with a Certificate from Aid Training which is HSE Approved and is valid for three years. You will also be issued with a First Aid Manual. What can I do next? A more advanced first aid course.
