Is this the right course for me? The course is for anyone who would like to develop confidence and assertiveness to improve their interaction in work or social situations. What will I learn? You will learn to feel more confident in dealing with potentially stressful and challenging situations. You will have a better understanding of how personal behaviour is affected by environments and other personalities. How will I learn? The tutor will present situations and problems, which you will attempt to manage and resolve in discussion and through working with your fellow students. You will have a complete course book to take away for reference. Will I gain a qualification? You will not gain a formal qualification; however you may receive a Certificate of Attendance from your tutor. What can I do next? You may wish to enrol on other personal development courses with Community Learning MK eg. Speaking with Confidence or NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), Mindfulness for clear thinking. We also offer a variety of business and computer courses eg. Bookkeeping, Excel spreadsheets.
