This is a two year course which will result in a single A Level. This can be taken in a combination with other level 3 courses (including A level and vocational). There are 2 units in total: Year 1 Skills based projects. Mini projects set throughout the year on varying themes to develop students photographic and Photoshop skills. Year 2 Component 1: Personal investigation – A practical based project relating to a topic of personal interest submitted with a written essay. Component 2: Externally set assignment–A project where the theme is set by the examination board. Students complete there final outcome in an 15 hour exam.
