The BTEC Level 3 in Performing Arts is a vocational qualification with an emphasis on investigating practitioners’ work and applying skills and techniques in live performance. The BTEC is coursework based with four units designed to cover a wide range of academic and vocational skills. This course will develop skills in performance, research and investigation, evaluation and reflection, and communication. The aim is for you to become an independent practitioner in preparation for an arts-based degree or for Drama School. This course offers clear progression from BTEC Level 2 Performing Arts or a GCSE in Drama.
