The BTEC in Sport is a two year academic course which provides a comprehensive introduction to the study of Sport. You will develop an understanding of the sports industry by exploring the different skills required for different career pathways into the industry. Additionally you will study Fitness Training as well as the Anatomy and Physiology of the body. The course is designed for post-16 learners who aim to progress to higher education and ultimately to employment, possibly in the Sports Industries, as part of a programme of study alongside other BTECs or A levels.

Each unit is given a credit value depending on the guided learning hours. At the start of each internally assessed unit you will receive an assignment brief detailing the tasks and criteria to be met.
