The areas of law covered by the four units of work include looking at civil and criminal law. The student will study how cases are brought into court and settled using our legal system. They will also study the Law of Tort and explore how the concept of negligence has been developed as a discreet area of law to settle claims of damages and financial loss. The course is the equivalent of one A Level and is graded on a Pass, Merit or Distinction level.
