English Literature at A Level will develop your understanding and enjoyment of literary studies through the exploration of a range of texts. You will be encouraged to become an independent and reflective reader - one who can draw on a number of approaches to interpret literary works. The course is designed to deepen your understanding of both the classics of English Literature and a variety of modern texts. Alongside Shakespeare, you could find yourself studying writers such as Kazuo Ishiguro and Margaret Atwood.
