Course Specification: Edexcel Economics A Entry Requirements: No prior knowledge of Economics is required but students are expected to take a lively interest in current affairs. Students should have at least a Level 6 in English or a B grade in a Humanities subject, and it is desirable that students should have achieved a Level 6 in Mathematics and a B grade in Business Studies, where taken. What is the course about? Studying Economics will enable you to: - Understand current economic issues, problems and institutions; - Apply economic concepts and theories to explain real world situations; - Analyse, explain and evaluate the market economy and the role of the government.
