Our English Literature course encourages students to engage with a wide assortment of texts, genres and authors: the ideal choice for those with a genuine love of reading and literature. This A-Level will nurture your ability to interpret and evaluate a variety of drama, poetry and novels critically and creatively; you will explore connections across texts and how attitudes and values are expressed in literature. The course is delivered by staff who communicate their enthusiasm and love for literature in a variety of ways: from group discussions and debates to more creative lessons and theatre trips. All students will sit the AS qualification at the end of year 12. All year 13 students will complete the full A Level qualification in year 13.
