Applied ICT AS

UPDATED 20160806 14:47:35

This course builds on the ICT knowledge and skills you already possess and assumes you already have some experience of using ICT to combine and present information. You need to be capable of independent research and learning and should be able to use the internet efficiently. It would be beneficial to have studied ICT at GCSE, but this is not essential. This course will enable you to apply your knowledge and understanding of ICT and develop planning, research, evaluation and problem-solving skills. You will develop an understanding of the impact of information systems on organisations, personnel, policies and practices. You will acquire project management skills and an understanding of the need to work co-operatively with others.
