UPDATED 20160807 11:15:05

We expect students to have gained at least a strong C grade, preferably a B grade, at GCSE English Language as well as fulfilling the entry requirements for the Sixth Form. This is a good choice for students who are not afraid of hard work! You will need to be able to work on written, oral and practical assignments independently and in collaboration with others. A2 Unit 3—Media: Critical Perspectives 50% A2 mark A variety of issues and debates within Media are examined including Reality TV, moral panics, the digital revolution, censorship and broadcasting post 9/11. A2 Unit 4—Media: Research & Production 50% A2 mark Coursework—a portfolio to include a Critical Investigation based on a media issue or debate and a linked production piece.
