We expect students to have gained at least a strong C grade, preferably a B grade, at GCSE English Language as well as fulfilling the entry requirements for the Sixth Form. A2 Unit 3—Media: Critical Perspectives 50% A2 mark A variety of issues and debates within Media are examined including Reality TV, moral panics, the digital revolution, censorship and broadcasting post 9/11. A2 Unit 4—Media: Research & Production 50% A2 mark Coursework—a portfolio to include a Critical Investigation based on a media issue or debate and a linked production piece.
