Psychology Level 3 (Block A)

Introduction Psychology is the study of the human mind and behaviour. This course aims to give students an insight into the hidden depths of the human psyche. Year 12 Students will learn about the cognitive, developmental and social approaches in Psychology. They will develop an understanding of mental disorders, human behaviour, social influence, memory and attachment. Students study different research methods used to collect data and will undertake small research projects of their own. Year 13 Students will study three topics: relationships, schizophrenia and addiction.
