Sociology is the study of people in social groups. People are social beings, not just individuals with their own separate lives. Their lives are shared with others and shaped by the society in which they live. There is a division between the two major schools of thought Macro Sociology and Micro Sociology. Macro approaches looks at the effects of structures on people and the Micro approaches look at the role of the individual in society. There are 3 papers - Education and Methods in the context of education, Crime and Deviance, plus other options.
