The course allows students to develop skills as well as technical knowledge that will provide them with an invaluable and thoughtful perspective on contemporary issues in health and social care. Modules include: • Service provision • Care values • Rights and responsibilities • Care settings • Employment within the Sectors • Disease, Illness and Disability • Understanding human behaviour • The ageing demographic Core Values and Services are based around the values of care, service provision and meeting individuals' needs throughout life stages. This includes national policy and financial issues and considering statistics and data analysis.
