French is an interactive subject with a focus on oral and written communication. The inclusion of French Film and Literature provides a window into French-speaking culture, its people and their attitudes. The course draws upon authentic contemporary publications which cover all aspects of life. Any modern foreign language at A Level is lively and demanding, providing an enjoyable challenge. We offer our students further opportunities such as a cultural & linguistic trip to Paris, the opportunity to work with younger school children learning French and weekly conversation sessions.
