English Language at AS and A2 encourages students to develop their interest in and enjoyment of English through learning about its structures and its functions, its development and its variations. Throughout the course, students study the full scope of English in all its spoken and written forms, and are introduced to new methods of studying the language. The course aims to develop the ability of students to express themselves in both speech and writing with increasing sophistication and would therefore be rewarding for anyone wishing to communicate effectively.
