The A Level Product Design: Graphics allows students to study existing designs, including ways to improve them, in order to develop their understanding of the basic principles of design. The course allows students to develop a range of 2D and 3D communication skills to enable their design work to be presented to a relevant target market. In addition to this, students are encouraged to experience manufacture using a variety of resistant and compliant materials in the production of 3D product models. The intention of the course is to enlighten students to vocational possibilities in the expansive work of design.
