Sociology

UPDATED 20161103 11:30:48

Sociology is the study of Society. As sociologists we ask many questions such as; Is the family a universal institution? Why do(es) some social groups underperform within the education system? Does religion cause conflict or provide stability and why does crime exist in society? Although Sociology is a very different subject to Psychology, they complement each other well. Many of our students also study Philosophy and Ethics and Health & Social Care BTEC.
