A Level Textiles focuses on the exploration of textile processes and materials. It aims to develop creativity, skill and understanding. During the course you will work on set projects encouraging you to experiment with alternative materials, surface pattern, print, free machining and constructed textiles to produce exciting and innovative final pieces. Your practical work will need to be supported by a sketchbook of research, experiments and planning. Your coursework will include written analysis work based on textile artists/fashion/designers.
