Each year you will take one examination covering the key concepts, media theory and media industries. This is worth 50% of the overall qualification. Coursework is also worth 50% and you will be assessed in your ability to demonstrate knowledge, understanding and skills in media production processes through research, planning, production and evaluation. A2 coursework is more of a synoptic assessment. In particular, it is designed to demonstrate the importance of research in informing media production and to develop the skills acquired in MS2.
