This course is created to help you develop your design ability and to teach technical making skills. It wil encourage you to explore your creativity and ideas through the practice of research, drawing design development and technical skills as well as gain an understanding of colour, texture, pattern and form, in order to create a body of innovative designs. You will study a variety of topics such as: Materials, techniques and processes; Pattern cutting; Garment construction; Fashion presentation techniques; Printed textiles; Textile techniques; Historical and contextual understanding You will also study employability skills
