This course is offered at foundation, intermediate and advanced levels.Students will benefit from being taught by experienced staff who have worked in schools, nurseries and the health service. Students will experience quality, practical training from our excellent network of work placements in schools and nurseries. You can also do this course as an apprenticeship.You will study a variety of topics such as:- Physical, social and emotional development- Keeping children safe and healthy- Play, learning and education- Caring for children- Communication and professional skills- Diet and nutrition for children- Special needs issuesWork experience placements are an important part of this course and students will also learn employability skills.
