This course is for those who wish to gain a basic knowledge of the fundamental aspects of sport in preparation for further study at Level 2.

Name: Sport and Active Leisure Level 1 Qualification title: Nationally Recognised Qualification Qualification type: Other regulated/accredited qualification Assessment You are assessed through a continual process of coursework assignments. This will consist of between two and four pieces of coursework per module. An overall grade for the module will then be determined from these separate pieces of work. A range of assessment methods will be used throughout the course including written coursework, practical assessments, discussions and presentations.
