A UAL L3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production & Technology is a practical work-related course. You learn by completing projects that are based on realistic workplace situations activities and demands. This course is designed to help you develop the skills you need to start a career in the media production industries. In Year 1 you are enrolled on the 90 Credit Diploma (equivalent to 1.5 A levels) requiring you to complete 8 mandatory units. In Year 2 to complete the full Extended Diploma you will undertake a further 5 mandatory units. The full Extended Diploma is equivalent to three A levels which means when you have finished the course you can choose whether to get a job straight away or go into higher education. The course is for you if you are interested in a career in the creative media industries seeking a place in higher education keen to develop your practical and theoretical skills in Media Studies over 16 What will I study? You will study a range of theoretical and specialist practical units.
