You will choose between an acting or dance pathway. Acting units include: Acting Skills and Techniques, Performing Scripted Plays, Voice and Speech, Devising, Musical Theatre, Personal and Professional Development and Performance Projects. Dance units include: Performing Dance, Urban, Contemporary Dance, Ballet, Jazz, Choreography, Personal Professional Development and Performance Projects. Assessment is continuous which means you will be expected to take a mature and professional approach to managing your time, performance work and written tasks. You will have the opportunity to visit and work at Sue Townsend Theatre, our professional venue in Leicester city centre. You will also have the opportunity to attend performances to enhance your learning.
