Introduction to the use of Essential Oils

If you are unsure whether you want to sign up to a yearlong course in Aromatherapy, then why not come along and gain a deeper understanding of how to use essential oils at home and/or professionally. You will: * Experience the oils first hand and be able to ask all the questions you need * Discover how essential oils are used to maintain health, treat pain and other ailments and reduce stress. * Learn how essential oils can help you relax and unwind after a stressful day and how oils can help you with memory and concentration. * Learn a bit about the history of essential oils, extraction methods and the benefits and risks of using therapeutic grade essential oils. * Learn about fifteen essential oils, how to blend them, what oils blend well together and how they can be used. * Get the opportunity to make your own massage blends, room sprays, salt scrubs or bath salts to take home with you. * Discuss which oils are first aid essentials and also about the contra-indications to the use of essential oils and safety notes about each oil. * Conclude the day with a relaxing back massage and/or face massage using a massage blend made by you.
