Are you interested in great ideas, clever thinking and creativity? Then this is the course for you. You will be introduced to a range of the principles of design and ways of looking, thinking and expressing ideas visually. We will teach you skills of drawing, how to use colour and type with effect, how to work in 3D and how to use computers in application to creative ideas development. You will learn how to research and develop your ideas creatively, and how to visualise them, talk about them and write about them. You will develop your chosen specialism, with projects drawn from a broad spectrum of disciplines including advertising, publishing, print, typography, computer graphics, packaging and illustration. Live briefs also play an important part in portfolio preparation and professional practice for progression on to a university course or employment. Previous educational residential trips have included London and New York to further enrich the educational experience.
