The course is for students wishing to start a career in the health sector. Attendance will be mainly in your work placement, however, you will be required to attend college two days per month. You will study four main components: Level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Support Services The Level 3 Technical Certificate in Working in the Health Sector Functional Skills in Maths at Level 2 Functional Skills in English at Level 2 You should be able to display good level of communication skills, motivation and initiative, an ability to work as a member of a team as well as independently and be able to demonstrate good attention to detail.
