If you have been out of education for a while and would like to gain access to a university level qualification such as a degree, an Access course may be the best way forward for you. Access courses are equivalent to three A levels and give you access to university level courses. Our Access courses are designed to fit around a busy family or work life. Additional GCSE Maths, English and Science classes are available and Level 2 numeracy and literacy sessions can also be arranged. This course combines a study of Psychology and Sociology to provide access to a variety of Higher Education Social Science courses including degrees in Psychology, Sociology or Social Work. You will also cover Social Care. Course Delivery This course will require 2 days per week attendance at Somerset College.
