The Level 2 Award in CCTV Operations (Public Space Surveillance) qualification has been developed to meet the training and licensing requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA).It will give CCTV operators the skills and knowledge to operate CCTV efficiently and effectively, so helping maintain the security of a workplace. On successful completion of the course, those operators who need a licence to work can apply for a SIA licence, which will enable them to work legally.
