This course is a City and Guilds taught programme run over two years, of which three days of each week are spent in college. Guided learning hours are spent in the classrooms, learning the theory of animal management, and interspersed with visits to breed shows, wildlife rehabilitation centres and animal shelters to experience the handling and feeding of farm, wild and exotic animals belonging to local community projects and experienced animal handlers and breeders.
