The Construction Diploma in Carpentry and Joinery is a college-based qualification and can lead to an NVQ. All units are topped up into NVQ units once students find a job in the trade as a Carpenter or Joiner. The Level 1 diploma is designed for students who would like to progress onto Level 2 at Craft Level. This qualification requires no work-based evidence and all training will take place within the College. External exams will cover practical, theory and Functional Skills in English. You must attend College for all timetabled hours.
