The NCFE Level 1 Certificate in Photography aims to introduce students to photography and to gain basic photography skills, knowledge and understanding of lens-based image-making and provide the opportunity for further development. The NCFE Level 1 Certificate in Photography is a 14-week programme. It is designed to develop technical, compositional and image-editing skills. Students will study through a programme of skills-based workshops and supporting classes which will introduce them to photographic equipment, developing and adapting ideas creatively, cultivating research skills, as well as producing and evaluating photographic images.
