This is the final level of the AAT qualification covering more advanced elements of basic book-keeping and costing. Content: (Mandatory Units) - Financial Performance - Financial statements - Budgeting - Internal Control and Accounting Systems (Optional Units - Take 2 options from the five) - Business Tax - Personal Tax - External Auditing - Cash Management - Credit Control In addition as an apprentice you will need to study functional skills in Maths and English at level 2 unless you have an exemption. (Exemptions are offered for GCSEs at grade A-C in the last five years) You will also complete an Employer Rights and Responsibilities Workbook during the course.

The course runs from September to June for the core units. Optional units are then usually completed September to November in the following year.
