During the course you will learn the following: - Health & Safety- - Building methods & construction technology- - Types of communication- costing & quoting- drawing techniques- understanding teamwork on site- - Applying backing plasters; skim finish- - Rendering- - Plasterboard fixing techniques to walls & ceilings (including dry lining) - Floor screening- - Intermediate fibrous plastering (running & fixing cornice- dado & mouldings)- - Preparation for the Workplace.

If you haven't achieved an A*-C grade in English or Maths at GCSE- or a Level 2 Functional Skill- you will also be working towards a qualification in English or Maths at a level that will enable you to progress towards these grades.
