This course is aimed at people wanting to pursue a career managing animal collections and establishments. We are able to offer our Animal Management courses in collaboration with Newmarket Academy. There will be plenty of practical sessions allowing you to manage the care and well-being of a wide range of animals safely and with confidence. There is also the opportunity to interact with a variety of animals including birds, fish, exotic and zoological species. The course will also include trips to businesses associated with the animal industry, as well as input from visiting speakers.Topics studied will include: - Animal Anatomy and Physiology - Business Management - Investigative Project - Animal Welfare and Breed Development - Pet Store Design - Zoological Animal Health and Husbandry - Exotic Animal Health and Husbandry - Avian Health and Husbandry - Aquatics Husbandry and Management - Fundamentals of Science - Inheritance and Genetic Manipulation
