You will need to attend college for a minimum of 15 hours per week throughout the academic year. To pass the AAT qualifications, you will need to complete 6 externals assessment for the Level 3 Diploma in Accounting. The topics covered include: Accounts Preparation; Final Accounts for Sole Traders and Partnerships; Analysing Costs and Revenues; Indirect Taxes (VAT); Spreadsheet Software; Professional Ethics. You will be given the opportunity to complete an A Level in Maths, Business or English Language depending on entry requirements. This will be decided through discussion at Advice events. There is the prospect of completing accounting work experience, enrichment activities and participating in various visits and activities.
