Course Description: This is a course for those wishing to develop drawing and painting skills at any level, so beginners and those with some experience are all welcome. What will I learn? You will - Investigate and experiment with a range of drawing and painting materials developing your personal collection of materials - main focus is on drawing media ( e.g pencil/ charcoal/ graphite/ pastel) and the painting medium of watercolour. Develop observational skills using still life in the classroom. Produce personal paintings and drawings using a variety of references from still life and landscapes subjects. Investigate some of the formal elements of art - line, colour, form. Build your own portfolio of work. Evaluate art work.
