What will I learn? Component 1 Physical Geography Topics covered: • Water and Carbon Cycles • Coastal Systems and Landscapes • Hazards Component 2 Human Geography Topics covered: • Global Systems and Global Governance • Changing Places • Contemporary Urban Environments Component 3 Geographical Investigation Students will undertake fieldwork during the course. These will be on both human and physical geography topics. At least 4 days of fieldwork will take place during the course. They will collect, record and analyse data in order to examine hypotheses. An individual investigation of 3000 to 4000 words will then take place. The assignment will count for 20% of the overall ‘A’ level mark
