Before and after the English civil war - an East Midlands focus

In 1642 religious and political conflicts finally exploded into the English Civil War. We will be looking at how these events affected local people from the beginning of the conflict through to the Restoration, focusing on the local involvement of ordinary folk and families like the Greys and Hastings.
