Day School: Architecture: Church Architecture in Our Towns and Cities

This study day will investigate the architecture of English town churches, distinct in a number of ways from those in rural parishes. An explanation of the building and architectural styles, from the medieval period onwards, will give us a basis to examine some particular examples in Oxfordshire and Berkshire.
