Architecture of London's Underground Stations and European Metros

The course explores how the successive phases of development of the London Underground provide a show-case of the changing architectural styles in England seen over the last two centuries. Though majoring on London, the course also reviews and compares the iconic early styles of the Paris Metro and the Vienna Stadtbahn.
