Stone therapy encompasses the art of using hot, cold stones for therapeutic massage. Students will be taught relaxing and remedial type techniques to assist with a variety of conditions, using hot stones, marble and jade cold stones and gemstone chakra placements. This therapy is a useful preventative tool for repetitive strain injuries common to therapists as well as providing a highly sought after spa treatment. Practical and theory home study is required to complete assessment and an online exam to achieve the qualification. Uniform required. All students must have a level 3 massage and A&P qualification (level 3 swedish massage certificate).
